Strengthening Tax Administration, Enforcement And The Rule Of Law
Phoenix Attorneys, in collaboration with Enugu State Internal Revenue Service (EIRS), is pleased to report that it organised a two-day Tax Education Seminar for Judges, Magistrates of the Enugu State Judiciary and officers of the Legal Department of EIRS, on 7 and 8 September 2026.

Dr. Ngozi Ezema — The Roles of the Enugu State Internal Revenue Service (EIRS) in Tax Administration, Investigation, Assessment and Enforcement; Tax Offences and Criminal Liabilities (Modules 5 and 6)
Gift Ejimofor Esq. — Taxpayer Rights, Fair Hearing and Judicial Ethics (Modules 7 and 8)
Esther Dana, Esq. — Evidence, Practical Case Studies and Emerging Issues in Tax Proceedings (Modules 9 and 10)
The seminar provided a valuable platform for robust, insightful and cordial exchanges among judicial officers and tax practitioners, contributing to a deeper understanding of tax jurisprudence, and administration.
